A Boy and His Dog (1974)

Cirio H. Santiago Double Header!

Stryker (1983)

A warrior of tomorrow on the highway to hell!

Filipino producer/director Cirio H. Santiago is responsible for something close to eighty B-movies (including some of the first blaxploitation films) and had his hands in more than a few post-apocalyptic doozies. From crossbow-wielding, hot pants-clad, desert-warrior chicks and multiple "nods" to other better known films of the time, including amazing Rambo-inspired M60 machine-gun mow downs, and a band of straight Star Wars jawa rip-off mini-mutants, Stryker has all the post-apocalyptic bases covered.

830-1000pm, free admission
RUNTIME: 86min

The Sisterhood (1988)
Amazon warriors fight to survive a world gone mad!

From the back cover of the VHS: "In the barbaric new Dark Age of the year 2021, all women are the helpless slaves–and obedient bedmates–of any man strong enough to dominate them. All women, that is, except for the beautiful, deadly warrior maidens of The Sisterhood!"

1015-1145, free admission
RUNTIME: 75min

september 26
Solarbabies (1986)

Who will rule the future?

Shot in Spain and starring an ironically deaf, huge-earred Lukas Haas. Good stuff.

Robot Holocaust (1986)
It's machine vs. man in the ultimate battle for the future!

"Against the decimated ruins of New York City, explore the desolate future facing mankind after the horrifying ROBOT HOLOCAUST. Powerful robots have seized the Earth, poisoning the air and reducing human beings to a race of slaves imprisoned underground. Against hideous giant worms, flesh eating mutants and robot warriors, the nomad Neo and his robot Klyton face the unimaginable evil power of The Dark One in a spectacular battle beyond description to reclaim the earth and rescue the human face from the ROBOT HOLOCAUST!"
