Paradise was a simple family man that loved his wife. His military honors and religion gave him a false hope that his remaining years would be peaceful.

Gravedigger was into cults and poisoning humans. His devotion to black magic recently released the fiend within him, a power far beyond the bonds of human frailty.

Both are responsible for destroying Houston.

There is little agreement about the origins of war. Some believe war has always been with us; others stress the lack of clear evidence for war in our prehistoric past. Paradise/Gravedigger documents the details of a large violent conflict between two armies. The images take place after the official declaration of war and before any victory. Currently, I find that a narrative approach to art is the most comfortable for me. I'm rarely satisfied with just an object floating in space. I try to capture pieces at a turning point of that particular "story." This allow the room for question and wonderment, an element from fantasy that has always held my interest.
