Awesome DIY special effects for the zombie/slasher/scifi movie you are working on

So you are working on your latest epic film, Realm of the Bloodthirsty Hypersluts 2000: Revenge of the Serpent, and you need a realistic decapitation effect (you know, for when the pilot of the second ship is seduced and then beheaded by the Head Madame's Lazer Snake), but you blew most of your budget on weed and Russ Meyer DVDs (for inspiration dude). What do you do?
